ContextAlpin is a natural spring water brand originating in Turkey, with its identity and product story closely connected to its mountain source.
Aeron initially worked with the business to create and position the Alpin brand and develop its identity and packaging system. The resulting range was introduced across Adana and neighbouring markets in Turkey in 0.5L, 1.5L and 19L formats.
As the business grew, Alpin expanded its distribution and production capabilities, creating an opportunity to evolve the brand and packaging for a broader international audience.

ChallengeThe bottled water category is intensely competitive, with brands competing for attention through provenance, purity, wellness, packaging and increasingly sophisticated expressions of premium positioning.
As Alpin expanded beyond its original regional market, the packaging needed to create stronger shelf presence while retaining the distinctive character and recognition already established by the brand.
The challenge was to evolve rather than simply replace the existing identity—creating packaging suitable for Turkey and the UAE/GCC while strengthening Alpin's connection with its natural origins.

SolutionAs Alpin's brand guardian, Aeron developed an enhanced packaging and visual identity system designed to increase differentiation and recognition across increasingly competitive retail environments.
The work included a refreshed logo, redesigned labels and a distinctive new bottle structure. Particular attention was given to the physical form of the packaging, combining practical ergonomics with a stronger expression of the brand's provenance.
The surrounding mountains became an important design inspiration, with their forms incorporated into the bottle structure to create a recognisable physical feature connecting the product directly with its natural source.
The resulting packaging brought together brand identity, structural packaging and label design, creating a more distinctive and premium expression of Alpin for rollout across Turkey and the UAE/GCC.

ResultThe development of Alpin demonstrates the commercial potential of sustained, brand-led growth.
Following the original brand creation and repositioning, PET sales increased approximately threefold, from around one million to almost three million, while the distribution network expanded sevenfold. Growth in the business also supported expansion of the production facility and the introduction of glass bottle production.
The subsequent packaging evolution provided Alpin with a stronger platform for continued expansion, increasing shelf standout while creating a distinctive structural connection between the bottle and the mountain landscape behind the brand.
Aeron's ongoing role as brand guardian helped ensure that Alpin could continue to evolve while retaining a clear and consistent identity across markets.
