ContextAl Ain Water is one of the UAE's leading bottled water brands and part of Agthia Group.
Following earlier work refreshing the core brand identity and packaging portfolio, the business continued to invest in product innovation, including Al Ain Zero and the development of Al Ain Plus.
The objective was to create a new packaging design system for Al Ain Plus Vitamin D, communicating both hydration and functional health benefits while remaining clearly recognisable as part of the wider Al Ain brand family.

ChallengeThe launch of Al Ain Plus created the opportunity to introduce a new product proposition within an established and highly competitive bottled water category.
The challenge was to communicate additional functional benefits without losing the simplicity, trust and premium quality associated with the core Al Ain Water brand.
The packaging also needed to work across multiple formats while providing a flexible design system capable of supporting future product extensions.

SolutionWorking closely with Agthia, Aeron developed a packaging design system for Al Ain Plus based on consumer insight, market research and category analysis.
The engagement explored packaging concepts, PET bottle development, product hierarchy, naming architecture and label design to create a distinctive identity for the new range while maintaining strong visual links to the parent brand.
The resulting design balanced clarity with shelf impact, helping consumers understand the product's functional benefits while reinforcing the quality and heritage associated with Al Ain Water.
The system was also designed with future innovation in mind, creating a flexible packaging architecture capable of supporting additional variants as the portfolio evolves.

ResultAl Ain Plus Vitamin D was successfully launched into the UAE market and subsequently expanded across both 330ml and 500ml formats.
The project added a distinctive functional product to the Al Ain Water portfolio while creating a scalable packaging design system capable of supporting future innovation.
The engagement also strengthened Aeron's ongoing partnership with Agthia, supporting the continued evolution of one of the Middle East's best-known consumer brands through strategic brand development and packaging innovation.
