ContextEstablished by Royal Decree in 1978 as the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia, Bahri grew from a shipping business operating multipurpose vessels into a major international maritime and logistics organisation.
As the business expanded, its portfolio of services, markets and commercial relationships became increasingly complex.
This growth created a need for a more systematic approach to managing the Bahri brand across international and regional businesses, products, services, partnerships and future acquisitions.

ChallengeBahri needed a brand system capable of evolving alongside an increasingly diverse international business.
The challenge was not simply to refresh the corporate identity. Aeron needed to determine how the masterbrand, businesses, services, new brands, acquisitions and joint ventures should relate to one another and how those relationships should be communicated consistently.
The system also needed to work effectively in both Arabic and English, providing the flexibility required by an international maritime organisation while protecting the recognition and equity already established in the Bahri brand.

SolutionAeron developed an enhanced brand architecture and visual identity system aligned with Bahri's evolving business and brand strategies.
At the centre of the work was a clearer architecture capable of accommodating existing businesses while providing a framework for future services, acquisitions, endorsements and partnerships.
The visual identity was refreshed with a new bilingual wordmark and enhanced graphic device, creating a more flexible and coherent system capable of working across the organisation's different activities and communications.
A comprehensive bilingual logo suite was developed alongside detailed brand guidelines, providing clear principles for how the Bahri identity and its relationship with individual businesses and services should be implemented.
Following the initial rollout, Aeron continued to provide strategic brand consultancy, including advice on international trademarks, registrations, joint ventures and partnered initiatives.

ResultThe work provided Bahri with a more coherent and scalable brand system capable of supporting an expanding international maritime and logistics portfolio.
The new bilingual identity strengthened consistency across the organisation, while the brand architecture provided a framework for managing existing services and accommodating future businesses, acquisitions and partnerships.
The successful rollout also established a foundation for an ongoing relationship, with Aeron continuing to advise Bahri on brand strategy, international trademark requirements and the branding of joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
